the guy on the left told my two friends on the right that the next fox racing Andalucia video will mostly involve this

but i could be wrong…..

Slap Magazine is webcasting live from Thrasher’s Back to the ‘Berg contest today starting at 11 am PST. Should be wild. To learn more about Raoul Wallenberg, the namesake of the famous big four, click here.

This Nike ad obviously took a lot of work too (the shoes match the car for christ’s sake), but I’m backing it.

Betsy Gordon, the project manager for the national museum for the American Indian left a comment to me know that on July 3-5, there will be a quarterpipe built on site then followed by a Native American graffitti artist painting the ramp. This exhibition seems sweet. If you’re on the East Coast, specifically in the DC area, I would definitely try to make it out. For more information click here.
I know most people will probably argue with me on this one but c’mon, look at that set-up at the Brooklyn Banks (It’s a private Vimeo video?). Is that necessary? I know Nike is trying to market this to the masses but they could do it for a hell of a lot cheaper. They could have just made this ad or this ad and appealed to kids just as much. I guess part of the reason why it seems like such a waste, is the fact that it was done at the Brooklyn Banks. A spot so classic and legendary that you could film/shoot the ad with a point and shoot digital camera and it would still be just as good. I also realize that not all of the commercial/photoshoot was at the banks but I’m sure a fair amount of it will be in the ads.
In the end I know it really doesn’t matter but I can’t help think that the ad below would be a lot better than the Nike ad.
Mini Ramps are the best. It’s your haven, in the backyard. What could be better? Mike Carroll shredding one?
Matt Plassman is sick. Everytime he rides he shuts the craziest shit down. The first Banks jam? Turndowns the biggest wooden doubles first try. Bone Deth or whatever it was in New Bedford, MA? Disasters and sprockets over the “spine”, not to mention putting himself to sleep. If I had the resources, I would try and hunt that dude down and get an interview, if he even shreds anymore. Anyone know? Skip the dead animals and bs and watch some cool clips in the second Bone Deth as well as the first FBM Ghetto Jam.
