So Long And Thanks For All…

You can fill that in for whatever you’d like it to say. As of today I will no longer be blogging on In The Gnar. I’ll be focusing on Holeshot more and you can follow my internet activities with that by clicking here. I’ll also be working on my other project Amigos Publishing. We recently came out with our latest edition by fellow bike and boardsman Dylan Goettlich, which you can pick up here. If you’re into that sort of thing.

So with that I just wanted to say thanks if you looked at In The Gnar and enjoyed it in one way or another. Josh Friedberg will be taking it over and I’m sure only good things will come. Adios Amigos.

Wow, this is really awesome. I’ve said it before but I love videos that are just filmed on people’s home territory. This video is no exception and I for one am really happy to see a fastplant on some trails. I hate bars that are the same color as you’re frame though. Or maybe just blue ones? Either way don’t read this anymore and watch this 5 minute web masterpiece.

This is awesome and that pool has been on “my list” for awhile now. This was on the YOUGOTTAGETTHAT! vimeo page which has a bunch more sweet videos on it like this Boneless of the Week below.

Warfare

I saw this promo on Roger and while it’s one of those trailers that is just like 5 tricks, it looks pretty sweet. California born and bred to rip and shred. Speaking of Californians that were born and bred to rip and shred, I love this photo.

Steadfast, Ewok Villages, and The Woods

Steve Crandall sent through the news about their new FBM trails frame. It happens to be one of my favorite frames on the market these days and the badge mixed with those tapered stays look butta balls. You can see more of that information in a digital zine format here or you can just watch a video of some of the FBM guys riding in the woods above. If you don’t like any of that, then maybe you need to learn how to have fun.

Surf Exercising

Transworld Surf has one of the most annoying websites ever. First there is this guy who talks to you all the time, kind of like those Gatorade commercials that were running for a bit. Then there is this video which I saw being advertised on there. I feel like you could probably do some push-ups and maybe some yoga and just call it a day but who knows, I’m no Paul Hiniker.

Abubacas In The Desert

dave_voellker

When I got this issue in the mail with my subscription, I was a little confused. You see at the time Dave Voelker was just the guy who wore GT jerseys and had weird pictures in the GT advertisements. I didn’t know he was the legend from Santee, CA who layed out the best turndown fakies on the planet. I guess it’s probably how kids are now when it comes to some of the pros I grew up idolizing.

It took me a while to realize how good this cover actually is. Actually that whole issue is pretty on point, if you can track down a copy I would highly suggest it.

:27 Gets Me So Psyched

Even though I try to not get too excited about internet world extravaganzas, sooner than later there will be an Epicly Later’d on Max Schaaf. This is a good thing for numerous reasons but that vicious smith is reason enough for me. Oh yeah, and Fourstar put their Gang of Fourstar video online. Watch it here.
