After his run-in with the police in November, Richie Jackson is back on the positive PR side of things with a write up in the GQ Sports section.
But he got our attention because he looked like a cross between Oscar Wilde and the Mad Hatter. The first time we saw him, he was wearing stovepipe-striped trousers and a dark vest over an acid-trippy pirate shirt and a knotted kerchief. When we got closer, we saw details: buffed, pointed boots, a huge bright buckle, and gaudy but sparsely placed jewelry. His waxed mustache curled symmetrically and a peacock feather stood tall in the band of his stiff brown riding hat.
So, last night I found out that the film I submitted for the Nikon Festival was selected as one of the 50 finalists out of over 1200 entries. I was super hyped and didn’t get much sleep to say the least!
