Here’s a follow up with some pictures to last week’s Skateistan post. If you don’t know about this, it is truly an amazing project. Congrats again to everyone involved. Seriously, when did getting good at skateboarding qualify you for a job at National Geographic? Also, what’s going on with that get-up? Kid’s looking like the white man in foreign land circa 1970.
Due to current economic conditions, the world traveler pro has kinda taken a back seat to the cutty spot hunter pro. So if you live anywhere from St. Louis, Mo. to Scranton, Pa. consider your spots blown. At least for the time being. The economy should be back to normal in no time, and the hunt for the elusive ivory flatbar in Poland will resume.
Similar to Andrew’s post about Dylan Rieder’s ballet shoes, one of the biggest offenses in BMX and skateboarding is funny hats. I know and respect a lot of people who wear funny hats so don’t get too bent out of shape but lets take a look at some of our favorite types of hats and some of their famous supporters.
