Cacka Training Ground

The next round of good ass skaters should be coming out of North Carolina in about 5 years judging by the new skatepark in Durham. Looks like Bob and Sinclair were on hand to pass the torch. Where you at Kenny? Burnout has coverage of the Toy Machine demo at Thrasher Magazine.

The Wildest Confessions of David Gonzalez

Check out Michael Burnett’s interview with Flip’s Extremely Sorry last part owner David Gonzalez over on the Thrasher site. Solid sequences and a quality non-pr filtered interview.

Did you bury it in the yard?
No. You’re kind of not allowed to do it anymore but we still did it. Good times when you kill the pig. One time we kill the pig and he’s on the fire and everyone think, “Yeah. He’s dead.” He was starting to burn and then he wake up and start running around the house with the fire and everything!

A pig on fire started running around
the house?
It was tight.”

Taking pictures of kids at skateboard demos is nothing new but I would be damned if it wasn’t still interesting in 2009. Michael Burnett is on the road with the Baker/Deathwish squad and has some absolute gems from their stops. Click here to check out the heartbeat of America in action. If Burnout isn’t on your web viewing radar, I would highly suggest it.

Burnout is like an old friend that I forget about sometimes, but always go back to hang out with and remind myself why they (it) are (is)  so cool. It’s Michael Burnett from Thrasher’s photo blog so you know it’s awesome. Do yourself a favor and check it out here.
