Please do yourself a favor and watch this video, the announcer is unreal and there’s some classic footage in there. Everyone from Taj and Joe Rich to TJ Lavin and Todd Lyons thunderclapping the roll-in. There’s also some cool clips of NorCal dirt jumping legend, Joey Garcia. Solid just posted some photos of Joey. They also allude to the fact that Joey may be going to the worlds. That would be sick. I had that Ride BMX poster of him doing a rocket x-up at that skatepark in NorCal on my bedroom wall for so long. It would be nice to have more Joey Garcia in BMX. Brien Kielb does his thing again and talks to Aaron huff of Solid Bikes about their custom frame program here. Solid is awesome. I really tried finding that article that was in the keep it Like a Secret Issue of Dig, about Joe Rich and the Solid crew’s trip to Pipa Grande. It sounded unbelievable and when I heard the story before the article ran, I didn’t believe it. All I found was this picture though and another Solid ad from 1998 featuring Shad Johnson, Andy Merrel and Ben Kellgreen getting sick.
